Adil Khan, a highly decorated police officer is posted to Nandighat,

development, the fruits of which never reach them. Their land, their

Shashi (Sridevi) is a middle-aged Maharashtrian housewife who earns some money by making and selling sweet snacks (laddu).
She is a dedicated homemaker who is taken for granted by her family.
She is ridiculed for her poor English by her husband Satish (Adil
Hussain) and teenage daughter. Shashi is the object of potshots by
Satish, who has little respect for her real talent and Sapna, her 7th
grade daughter who is ashamed to even introduce her mother to her school
folks and teachers because her English is weak. However, her young son
Sagar loves her as she is.
Shashi's sister, who lives in New York, invites Shashi's family to
come to her daughter's wedding. It is decided that Shashi will go to New
York alone to help her sister set up everything for the marriage. Her
husband and kids will join her later when the wedding closes in. While
Shashi is in New York helping at her niece's wedding, she secretly
enrolls herself into a conversational English class that promises to
teach the language in four weeks. The class comprises a Mexican nanny, a
Pakistani cab driver, a Chinese hairstylist, a Tamil software engineer,
a quiet angry African kid, and a soft-spoken French chef named Laurent (Mehdi Nebbou).
Shashi quickly emerges as amongst the most promising and committed
students in her class. In midst of all this, she also finds Laurent
getting attracted to her plain simple personality.
Meanwhile, Shashi's niece finds out about her secret English classes
and supports and helps her in her literary pursuit. Shashi starts
watching English films at night and doing her homework religiously - all
to polish her English reading and writing skills and more importantly
to earn respect that she duly deserves from her family. To complete the
English speaking course each of the student must take a final test, as
announced by her teacher David Fischer. The test is a 5 minute speech
that each student should prepare and deliver which will be judged by the
tutor who will then issue the certificate. Shashi's family joins her in
New York earlier than expected, as a surprise. This makes it difficult
for Shashi to attend the classes and prepare for her final test. The
test date coincides with the wedding date so she misses the test.
Shashi's niece invites her English teacher and all her friends at the
English speaking class to the wedding. At the wedding, Shashi gives the
speech (in English), more of a toast to the couple at the wedding and
stuns everyone. The English tutor, who is present amongst the guests,
declares that she has passed the test with distinction and issues her
the certificate. Shashi's husband and daughter finally realize their
mistake of mocking her lack of proficiency in English and taking her for
granted. Shashi thanks Laurent for "making her feel better about
herself". The movie ends with the Shashi's family returning to India. On
the flight Shashi requests (in fluent English) if the stewardess has
any Hindi newspapers.

Shiva (Akshay Kumar) is a small-time thief in Mumbai who falls in love with Paro (Sonakshi Sinha) from Patna,
who is in Mumbai to attend a marriage. Shiva makes his way into Paro’s
heart and she also starts loving him. Shiva tells her the truth about
him being a thief and resolves to give up crime forever. But before
that, he decides to swindle one last person for a large sum of money.
This leads Shiva to Chinki, a young girl, who thinks that Shiva is her
father. Flummoxed by what is happening, but forced to keep Chinki with
her as a police officer (Yashpal Sharma) keeps his eye on him, Shiva slowly starts loving the innocent child.
Although he tries keeping Chinki away from Paro’s eyes, the latter
finds out about Chinki. Angry and hurt, Paro leaves for Patna leaving
Shiva heartbroken. Soon, unknown goons attack him, taking him to be a
latter named Vikram Rathore, Chinki’s real father. While many unknown
persons help Shiva run to safety with Chinki in his arms, he is soon
surrounded by the goons. It is then that ASP Vikram Rathore (also Akshay
Kumar) makes an appearance and saves the day killing every goon by
himself. But Rathore is grievously injured in the fight, and soon dies
due to the injury.
Since Vikram Rathore is Shiva's lookalike, Shiva hides the death of
Chinki's real father, and steps into the position of Rathore by raising
Chinki with Paro, and also his position as a Police officer, and
finishing off all the mafia goons who were involved in his murder, which
leads him to a village named Devgarh.

Mastermind Charlie Mascarenhas (Abhishek Bachchan) is one of the greatest thieves all over Mumbai. He plans to rob a Malik Painting with the help of his love Riya (Bipasha Basu) and manage to steal it successfully. In Goa, a friend of Charlie, Raj (Aftab Shivdasani) is killed by the Russian mafia. On his death, Raj's wife hands over a CD to Charlie, which Raj had left for the latter. The CD contains the secret of hidden Romanian gold worth 10,000 crores, that was given to Russia during the First World War to protect it from the Germans. The CD contains details of how the gold will be transferred back to Romania. After Charlie and Riya watch the CD, and also come to know of the hidden treasure secret, they decide to go undercover and rob the train in which the gold is being transported. With the help of prisoned don Victor Braganza (Vinod Khanna) called as Victor Dada , they hire a team of people to join them in the robbery. The group includes Spider (Neil Nitin Mukesh)who is a best hacker in the whole world, a bomb expert Bilal (Sikander Kher), a master-disguiser Sunny (Omi Vaidya), and an illusionist Ronnie (Bobby Deol).
Charlie is also having an affair with Victor's daughter, Naina (Sonam Kapoor), who doesn't know anything about her father and Charlie's dirty business. However, Victor is trying to change to make her happy, after this one last job. The group hatch a plan to rob the Russian train in the sliest way possible, whilst Victor spends some time away with Naina. The robbery is executed successfully. However, whilst celebrating their success, it is revealed that Spider has double-crossed the players, and tries to flee with the whole gold, though is stopped by Ronnie, who is then shot multiple times by Spider's assasins. Ronnie then gives his phone to Charlie, and explains if his daughter calls, he shouldn't tell her anything about the incident. Charlie agrees, and the group are then chased by Spider and his men, only leading to Ronnie and Riya's death. Charlie, Bilal and Sunny manage to escape when Spider bombs the place, though when they come back, Spider has already fled with the whole gold.
Charlie then calls Victor to tell him about the attack and betrayal, but Naina picks up the phone and hears everything. She now realizes that the whole family was involved in heist-business, and were criminals. As Victor tries to calm her down, Spider's assassin breaks into the house and murders Victor. Naina can't take the loss, and decides to end contact with Charlie. For a year, Charlie contacts Gold-dealers to find which one has the same gold as Spider stole, but can't seem to find one. He then goes to meet Naina, who is angry with him, though he explains to her, that they only wanted to steal the gold so they could help achieve Victor's dream to make an big orphanage so no one would have to be a criminal like them. Naina understands, and teams up with Charlie to get revenge on Spider. They go and meet the remaining team, Bilal and Sunny who agree to find the traitor, retrieve the booty and settle scores. In New Zealand, they find a dealer who is in contact with Spider, and are able to track him down. They find out his whereabouts, and set out to get him. The four reach his home, only to find he lives in a mansion and has used the whole gold for himself.
One day, the four go shopping, only to witness Riya living there. They follow her and then visit her home. She explains that she also wants revenge on Spider, and that is why she came there. She provides them with the informaton of Spider's living place. They also involve her in the plan, and begin to make moves. Spider then flirts with Naina (unknowing her plan) and takes her to his villa. But soon enough, he gets her on gunpoint finding out she was with Charlie as he sees a camera inside her hair. Charlie runs in to rescue her, but is surrounded by his assassins and guards. Spider gives him one last chance, and says that he has only 48 hours to steal his gold, otherwise Spider could do whatever he wanted with him. Charlie accepts, and they make a plan. They successfully take the gold and flee, but when they are about to leave the country, they are caught by Spider, and it turns out that Riya is actually Spider's girlfriend, and that she was helping him all along to cheat the rest of the group.
Spider tries to force them for the gold, but when they open their Mini Coopers' trunks, it turns out they are empty. Spider goes furious and betrays Riya and points a gun at her, threatening them that he would kill her. Before Charlie gives away the real hideout of the gold, heartbroken Riya pulls the trigger herself and dies. Charlie feels really sorry for her, and the two tell each other that they still love each other, and Riya dies. Spider then stabs Charlie, and tries to run, but is soon stopped by Sunny and Bilal who beat him up badly. Charlie recovers and also beats him, but they then bring Naina who wants revenge for the death of Victor, and she shoots Spider twice. The four leave the scene, but Spider gets back again, and rings the Russian mafia, and tells them that Charlie has stolen their gold, and where they are heading. He then dies, and it is revealed that the gold was hidden in an old Motor Garage. They get the gold, and leave for India, but the Mafia surrounds the four thieves and they check the cars again, and the backs are still empty. Sunny asks what is going on, only to be revealed that the Mini Coopers they were driving were actually made out of the gold itself.
In the end, Bilal opens a car business. Sunny becomes a theatre-actor. Charlie and Naina then open the orphanage Victor Braganza always wanted as his dream. Charlie raises Ronnie's daughter as his own daughter.
Shakal Pe Mat Ja is a story of four young boys who get caught up as suspects at the Delhi international airport, on a high alert day. They get caught while capturing an American Airlines aircraft landing on their camera, which they claim to have shot for a documentary that they are making.
With their explanation and situation not being fruitful they are brought into the interrogation room of the International airport to be questioned by the CISF.

Whether it’s the suspicious footage of the boys being at Rashtriya pati bhawan, or the Arabic and Pakistani Porn that they find in Rohan’s bag, Whether it’s the bomb like looking device in Dhruv’s bag which he states to be his physics project or the fact that the 27 year old Bulai who resembles a most wanted terrorist and doesn’t carry any id or even a cell phone. At the same time the Intelligence has reports that a group of terrorists are planning some sort of an attack. Do these 4 guys have any involvement with the terror group or they have different plans all-together.
